What batch sizes and levels of component complexity does Fäth’s contract manufacturing cover?
Fäth Group manufactures from batch size 1 – from individual prototypes and spare-part assemblies to small-series production. Our focus is on complex precision components and assemblies made of stainless steel and engineering plastics, particularly for the semiconductor, life science and high-tech industries. We also reliably meet demanding requirements for cleanroom manufacturing, documentation and quality assurance.
What cleanroom class does Fäth manufacture in?
Fäth manufactures and assembles under controlled cleanroom conditions in accordance with ISO 14644. Depending on the project, assembly, cleaning and packaging are carried out in ISO Class 6 or ISO Class 7 cleanrooms. The appropriate cleanroom environment is selected based on the specific customer and process requirements.
What materials does Fäth process?
We process stainless steel, aluminum, and high-performance engineering plastics such as PEEK, PTFE, PFA, PVDF, PP, POM, and PE. Materials are selected according to your specific technical requirements and operating conditions.
When does contract manufacturing with Fäth make more sense than in-house production?
We process high-alloy stainless steels (e.g. 316L), high-performance plastics such as PVDF, PFA and PP, as well as other materials according to customer specifications. Materials are selected together with you based on the specific process requirements.
How does Fäth differ from a traditional contract manufacturer?
Contract manufacturing is particularly beneficial when internal capacity is fully utilized, specialized expertise or cleanroom facilities are unavailable, a new component is being introduced into production, or outsourcing makes strategic sense. We help you evaluate this make-or-buy decision.
Do you also manufacture individual parts?
Yes. In addition to complex assemblies, we manufacture precision components, prototypes and spare parts. We also provide cost-effective production of small batches and series.
