Project Sales Director (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS
- To manage, lead and control multi-projects.
- Direct interface with customers or sub-contractors for all aspects of their project contract and schedule including organising the project meeting for technical presentations, contract reviews and design reviews and providing project progress reports for management or customer review.
- Direct interface with other Faeth associated companies in managing the resources and obtain the necessary engineering, design or process information required to manufacturer, install and qualify the system and equipment.
- To take charge in project planning and implementation including developing detailed project plans defining project task and to manage project resource allocation and project budget, scheduling of project timelines and tracking of project deliverables to meet the project targets.
- To liaise and manage suppliers and subcontractors to complete system or equipment installation works.
- To source for components, parts and suppliers according to customer and project specifications and current standards
- To coordinate with the onsite subcontractors, Faeth team and the customer for equipment testing, operation and commissioning activities.
- To observe the Quality Management function and Project Quality Plan (QMS/PQP) and Safety Management System (SMS) and requirements throughout the project.
- To implement best practices throughout the project sites and participate in discussions with the teams for effective management and utilisation of constrained resources.
- To prepare and manage all safety inclusive of Work Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Permit to Work and others permit associate with the work.
- To prepare, manage, and maintain service reports & permits to work as required by the customer for equipment related items.
- To work towards the project schedule as planned and ensure that the equipment works as per the contractual specification.
- To prepare, collect, review, manage and maintain project documentation with customers, consultants and the authorities which is required by clients for final acceptance of the system or equipment.
- To ensure the certification of all systems and equipment supplied to the customer.
Responsible for acting on, and solving all design or start-up related issues as swiftly as possible, with a minimum of inconvenience to the customer, and to keep the Project Manager up-to-date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved. - To perform maintenance and calibration and sampling tasks / duties as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Working Instructions (WI) as required.
- To perform preventive and corrective maintenance as scheduled; attend to unplanned downtime or breakdowns across all Faeth equipment & systems.

- To provide training to end customer for Faeth equipment supplied based on the user manual, providing technical instruction and assistance to customer regarding installation, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment.
- To collect feedback on customer’s experience or products quality issues and report to Product Design Team for product improvement.
- Upon completion of a project to participate in post mortem meeting with management for evaluation of the project results and project problem faced and provide recommendations to Management for future improvement.

YOUR PROFILE
- A diploma/degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical or equivalent
- At least 3 years’ experience with strong understanding of project planning, project management functions, sourcing and technical planning in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, oil & gas field.
- Working beyond working hours as needed, whether for call-out, commissioning or project related reasons.
- Reliable technical background
- Good marketing skills and business sense
- Ability to build client relationships easily
- Analytical ability and great problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels and to work cross functionally
- A team player who is a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical, planning, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant working experience in manufacturing field, semiconductor industries is an added advantage
- Presentation skills and ability to convey product value
- High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales territory
- Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts
- Willingness to travel and be site-based
- Able to work in the fast pace and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD/3D Software desired but not a must
