YOUR TASKS

• Responsible for managing all phases of the project activities including planning, implementation, execution and completion of Gas and Chemical specialty equipment installation and certification projects.
• Direct interface with customer or sub-contractors for all aspects of the project contract and schedule, including organize the project meeting for technical presentations, contract reviews and design reviews and providing project progress reports for management or customer review.
• Direct interface with FAETH GmbH and associated companies in managing the resources and obtain the necessary engineering, design, or process information required to manufacture, install and qualify the system and equipment.
• To take lead in project proposal, project planning and implementation including developing detailed project plans, defining project tasks and to manage project resources allocation and project budget, scheduling of project timelines and tracking of project deliverables to meet the project targets.
• Liaise and manage suppliers and sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring performance of sub-contractor to complete system or equipment installation works.
• To oversee and provide guidance to project team on day to day basis project activities, coordinate with the service and maintenance team to ensure timely start-up and certification of the system and equipment supplied to customer.
• To prepare, collect, review, manage and maintain project documentation with customers, consultants and the authorities which is required by client for final acceptance of the system or equipment.
• To review the project targets at every project phases to ensure the project is within the project budget in term of project costs and cash flows, its schedule timeframe and to perform risk analysis and taking corrective action if necessary.
• To implement best practices throughout the project sites and participate in discussions with the teams for effective management and utilisation of constrained resources.
• To be fully responsible for acting on, and solving all Customer Complaint as swiftly as possible with a minimum of inconvenience to the customer, and to keep the customer up-to-date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved.
• To take charge in Quality Management function and Project Quality Plan (QMS / PQP) and Safety Management System (SMS) throughout the project.
• Upon completion of a project, to organise a post mortem meeting with management for evaluation of the project results and project problem faced and provide recommendations to Management for future improvement.

YOUR PROFILE

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical or equivalent.
• Preferably more than 8 years’ experience with strong understanding of project planning, project management functions, sourcing and technical planning in semiconductor, oil & gas field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD/ 3D Software
• Ability to communicate and interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally.
• Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• A team player who is independent, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Relevant working experience in manufacturing field, semiconductor industries is an added advantage
