YOUR TASKS

• Responsible for electrical wiring, instrumentation, & controls system requirements for standard and custom projects.
• Communicate with electrical engineer on system electrical wiring requirements including design specifications & wiring cable and parts and delivery schedules.
• To oversee electrical / controls sub-contractors (as required) or start-up personnel to deliver the electrical, instrumentation, & controls portion of turn-key projects on schedule.
• To oversee electrical suppliers and sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring performance of sub-contractor to complete system or equipment installation works.
• To record, implement and check all electrical design changes during the project and follow up to close it.
• To coordinate with QA/QC and production team for inspection of completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards and ensure adequate quality assurance of all deliverables in relation electrical wiring aspects.
• To implement best practices throughout the project sites and participate in discussions with the teams for effective management and utilisation of constrained resources.
• To coordinate with the services and maintenance onsite team for electrical wiring connection to ensure timely start-up and certification of the system and equipment supplied to customer.
• To prepare, review and maintain project documents relating to electrical wiring for final acceptance of the system or equipment.
• To support onsite installation, start-up, and testing support relating to electrical field including to oversee onsite electrical sub-contractors if any.
• To assist for acting on, and solving all complaints as swiftly as possible with a minimum of inconvenience, and to keep up-to-date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved.

YOUR PROFILE

• Candidates must possess at least a SPM, Diploma or any relevant electrical field.
• Those with three (3) years’ work experience in a related field with Electrical and Controls Engineering experience will have added advantage.
• Able to read and study E-Plan, electrical schematic and/or wiring diagram.
• Ability to communicate and interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally.
• Intermediate analytical, planning, negotiation, oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• A team player who is independent, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
