Compact membrane system for research and industrial preliminary tests on a laboratory scale
Our membrane laboratory system was specially developed for the pre-selection (screening) of ceramic or polymeric tubular membranes (monochannel membrane) of different pore sizes for the field of micro- and ultrafiltration in cross-flow operation.
TECHNICAL DATA
Module type/filter area | CERAMIC: approx. 0.02 m² PVDF: approx. 0.04 m² |
Number of membrane modules | 1 |
Maximum temperature (medium) | 55 °C |
Weight of the system | approx. 25 kg (without water filling) |
Dimensions of the system | |
Height | 1.800mm |
Length | 480 mm |
Depth | 380 mm |
System connections | |
Electrical connected load | 0.5 kW; 230 V / 50 Hz |
Compressed air | 6 bar (oil-free) |
Construction of laboratory plant
- The system is fully assembled on a frame and must be connected to the storage tank
- The operating parameters such as inlet and outlet pressure as well as the overflow of the tubular membrane are displayed. The amount of filtrate produced is gauged via a sample vessel.
- The raw membrane can be cyclically backwashed with generated filtrate via a time relay
- The concentrate is discharged by switching the manual valves
