YOUR TASKS

• Responsible for engineering of all phases of the project activities including planning, implementation, execution and completion of high purity system and specialty equipment installation and certification projects.
• Direct interface with sub-contractors for all aspects of the project schedule, including assistance to prepare the project meeting for technical presentations, design reviews and providing project progress reports for management or customer review.
• To source eligible components, parts and supplier according customer and project specifications and current standards.
• To review the P&ID’s, layouts, parts, spare parts lists, functional and technical descriptions according project scope.
• To manage suppliers and sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring performance of sub-contractor to complete system or equipment installation works.
• To record, implement and check all design changes during the project and follow up.
• To develop and calculate technical solutions (Pressure Drop Calculation-PDC) to fulfill the project requirements.
• To have excellent knowledge of the relevant current standards, regulations and methods including state of technology.
• To ensure timely commissioning and certification of all systems and equipment supplied to the customer.
• To assist to prepare, review, manage and maintain project documentation with customers, consultants and the authorities which is required by client for final acceptance of the system or equipment.
• To review the project targets at every phase to ensure the project is within the project budget in term of project costs and cash flows, its schedule timeframe and to perform risk analysis and taking corrective action if necessary.
• To coordinate with onsite sub-contractors for equipment testing and commissioning activities, scheduling and work towards schedule as planned and ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
• To implement best start-up practices throughout the project sites and participate in discussion with team for effective management and utilisation of constrained resources.
• To take charge in Quality Management function and Project Quality Plan (QMS / PQP) and Safety Management System (SMS) throughout the project.
• Responsible for acting on, and solving all design or start-up related issues as swiftly as possible, with a minimum of inconvenience to the customer, and to keep the Project Manager up-to-date on actions taken, together with a time plan for which the identified issues can be resolved.
• To provide training to end customer for Faeth equipment supplied based on the user manual, providing technical instructions and assistances to customer regarding installation, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment.
• To investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults and carry out field troubleshooting and repair of Faeth products at customers’ site both local & overseas.
• To collect feedback on customer’s experience or products quality issues and report to Product Design Team for product improvement.
• Upon completion of a project, assist to organise a post mortem meeting with management for evaluation of the project results and project problem faced and provide recommendations to Management for future improvement.

YOUR PROFILE

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical or equivalent.
• Preferably more than 8 years’ experience with strong understanding of project planning, project management functions, sourcing and technical planning in semiconductor, oil & gas field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or equivalent CAD/ 3D Software
• Ability to communicate and interact with people at all level and to work cross functionally.
• Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• A team player who is independent, self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Relevant working experience in manufacturing field, semiconductor industries is an added advantage
