DRESDEN SPORTS DAY powered by Silicon Saxony
Playing sport together creates a sense of togetherness and plays a key role in how we interact with one another. It overcomes cultural, social and linguistic boundaries and brings people of different backgrounds and ages together. For this reason, we are inviting all interested parties to the Sportpark Ostra on September 20, 2025 to discuss health issues and engage in conversation with sports clubs and initiatives. A varied stage program with topics ranging from nutrition to healthy backs to relaxation methods invites you to inform yourself, as do the hands-on activities offered by various sports clubs such as basketball, quidditch, baseball and many more. Personalities from the world of sport will give short talks as part of the stage program.

Local clubs such as the Saxon Mountaineering Association or the water sports club at the Blaues Wunder make reference to the location and are represented alongside over twenty other sports institutions. There is the opportunity to complete the Flizzy children’s sports badge on site. Children can let off steam on a varied activity course. A wide range of food will also be on offer.
The visit is free of charge. Changing facilities to actively try out the sports are available on site. And if you want to do something good, you can take part in the waste collection campaign at 12 noon as part of the World Cleanup Day of the state capital Dresden.
We look forward to your participation. The doors are open from 10 am to 6 pm.
